There were a lot of things in my life that I started doing before I had the chance to overthink it. I liked performing, so my parents put me in a theatre group when I was three. I was writing music before I knew how to play an instrument- that's why my mother had me take piano lessons. By the time I was nine or so and played guitar and piano, I started writing music for real. I liked the sound of the ukulele so I taught myself to play it. Same with the mandolin, bodhran, celtic harp, ruan and so on. I fell in love with a greek song so I started learning Greek. I liked "Who's Line is it Anyway?" so I started taking improv classes and joined an adolescent improv troupe, "Giggle Gaggle." I liked Ballroom and Latin so I added that to my list of dance classes at age 11.
